Terms of Service

Effective date: July 24, 2026

These terms set out the conditions under which independent developer onigoro ("the operator") operates the video content series "Japan in 60" ("the Service").

1. What the Service is

The Service is a content series that distributes videos featuring landmarks across Japan to platforms such as YouTube and TikTok, posted from official accounts managed by the operator.

2. Prohibited conduct

In operating the Service, the operator will not:

Violate the terms of service or community guidelines of any connected platform (e.g. YouTube, TikTok)
Post false or misleading content, or content that constitutes spam
Post content that infringes a third party's copyright, likeness rights, or other rights
Engage in conduct that violates applicable law

Use of the YouTube Data API by the Service is additionally governed by, and the operator agrees to comply with, the YouTube Terms of Service.

3. Disclaimer

The operator is responsible, at its own discretion, for any damages arising from viewing or using the Service, and likewise bears responsibility if the Service is interrupted or discontinued.

4. Changes to these terms

These terms may be changed without prior notice. Changes take effect once posted on this page.
